The Licensing Section administers the sale of licenses for cigarette dealers, dogs, junkyards, kennels and vendors. Annually, the quantity of dog licenses sold in Franklin County well exceeds all other licenses processed. About 110,000 dogs were licensed in 2010. Of special note in Franklin County - we request information regarding rabies vaccinations in conjunction with the purchase of a dog license as a safety precaution.
