Supervisor of Financial Reporting The Supervisor of Financial Reporting is responsible for both internal and external financial reporting, including regulatory filings; technical accounting leadership, implementation of accounting policies across the County and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The supervisor plays a key role in the Auditor’s efforts to implement new technology in order to improve the timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting processes and improve financial reporting deliverables. The Financial Reporting Supervisor collaborates with the staff by developing and providing reports of relevant historical data for various financial forecasting tools. The Supervisor must be willing to work under highly fluid and stressful situations at certain periods of the year. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are required.
