Your Franklin County Auditor’s office will undergo a planned data systems update beginning July 16.

The office is upgrading and modernizing the software that provides the backbone of the County’s real estate record keeping systems. This new software will be highly efficient, secure, and ensure future interoperability with other government agencies. This upgrade requires a system-wide update that will be rolled out in phases.

  • The first phase is expected to last approximately 5 days – through mid-day Monday, July 21.

  • During this first phase, transactions which involve recording of data into the system will be suspended. The office will continue to receive and process any applications and associated paperwork, but results will not be able to be recorded electronically and therefore you will not see any changes made during this time reflected in the information displayed on the website.

  • The entry of new data will resume immediately following completion of the system update, in the order it was received.

We recommend planning to complete any time-sensitive transactions or searches before this update begins.

While the update is in progress, users of the website might notice:
slower page response times, parts of the website might not have their full functionality until the update has concluded, and searches and queries will return results based on information reported prior to the start of the update.

Impacted webpages will display notices detailing the affected information and updates as to the progress of the maintenance effort in that section of the website.

The office will release further status updates as they become available.  You can check the website and the associated social media pages for any pertinent updates.
